A new development vector has been identified, focusing on cooperation with countries in Asia, Africa and South America. This was an important step towards expanding international relations and strengthening the position of our sport on the world stage.

The idea arose to organize a competition that would bring together not only the strongest teams from all over the country, but also players from other countries.

The main goal of the tournament was to create a platform where sportsmen can share their experiences, demonstrate their skills and promote sports among the younger generation. In addition, the tournament was conceived as an opportunity to draw the attention of the international community to the Russian teams and their achievements.

The tournament attracted the strongest teams, bringing together participants from different cities of Russia and even abroad.

The participants of the competition were:
- "Sayman" (Iran),
- "333" (Yekaterinburg),
- "O.S.A." (Krasnodar region),
- "Sabotage" (St. Petersburg),
- "Hermes" (Moscow),
- "Leader" (Moscow),
- "Moscow Sentinels" (Moscow),
- "Kurchatovets" (Moscow).

In 2024, the international tournament was held from 24 to 26 May at the Kurchatov Stadium in Moscow, consolidating the status of a traditional and anticipated event in the sports calendar. This year, 8 of the strongest teams took part in the competition, among which there were already two teams from Iran, which confirms the growing popularity of the tournament outside of Russia.

The 3rd international tournament Moscow Open Cup 2025 was held in Moscow at the Kurchatovets Stadium. The atmosphere of celebration and the spirit of rivalry prevailed at the stadium for all three game days, and the opening ceremony, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was wonderful in its meaning.

After three successful Moscow Open Cup men's tournaments, we held the first Moscow Open Cup Junior for children. The participants of the tournament were 11 teams in two age categories born in 2013-2014 and 2010-2012. Athletes represented teams from four regions of our country: Moscow, Tatarstan, Moscow and Tula regions.
